Rickenbacker has taken the benefit of its favorable location and the plentiful land available and created a multi-modal logistics and e-business fulfillment center featuring the international airport, numerous industrial parks, an intermodal terminal and a Foreign-Trade Zone.

Four key business types have emerged -- E-commerce fulfillment, international airfreight, freight forwarding and distribution -- to create billions of dollars in wages, taxes and earnings for the region with over half of the area still available for development.

The Columbus Regional Airport Authority (CRAA) is actively developing land in the Rickenbacker Global Logistics Park through a partnership with Duke Realty Corporation and Capitol Square, Ltd. This new industrial park provides five campuses offering prime locations near the international airport and intermodal terminal.

CRAA owns the Rickenbacker's Air Cargo Terminal Complex, which serves as home to various freight forwarders and others doing business at the airport.
